It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July in Atlanta without the annual Centennial Olympic Park Celebration.
Expect the annual celebration brought to you by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority to have a massive display of fireworks, a variety of food trucks and a set by DJ Yvonne Monet. This is the 22nd year for the family-friendly event which many say is the largest and best Fourth of July Fireworks in the Southeast. Those of you live in a downtown condo, midtown or even Buckhead condo may have the pleasure of watching from your balcony.

Stone Mountain Park Fantastic Fourth Celebration
Take in the diverse and awesome mix of a patriotic firework show that includes lasers, drones, flame cannons…and get this..a new giant fire wheel known as the Catherine Wheel. The Catherine Wheel features fireworks which display bright colors more than 50 feet in diameter while causing the wheel to turn even faster. The new Catherine Wheel is the largest in North American and sure to be a can’t-miss sight.

Chop the Braves on the Fourth
What can feel more patriotic than celebrating the Fourth at a baseball game, eating hot dogs, watching fireworks and cheering on our own Braves? Preceding the game, there will be a ceremony at SunTrust Park on the field which will include a special video presentation, a revolutionary 13-gun salute, a giant American Flag and Flyover. Then, the Braves take on the Phillies at 7:20 pm. Following the ball game, stay for the choreographed display of fireworks customized with patriotic music.

Red, White and Blue…Under the Sea..
Not quite, but the annual Red White and Brew at the Georgia Aquarium is a major and unique celebration each year in Atlanta. A ticket to this event comes with unlimited local and national beer, cider samples, a classic American Barbeque dinner, live music and more than 500 aquatic species including the famed whale sharks and Beluga Whales. For those of legal drinking age, the party will be held in the Ocean’s Ballroom with views to the Ocean Voyager habitat and Cold-Water Quest Gallery. End the night with skyline views of the Centennial Olympic Park fireworks that are just a stone throw away.
