Blue HeronBuckhead’s Blue Heron Nature Preserve is adding more space allowing it to connect to other existing trails, the Sarah Smith Elementary School and also eventually Buckhead’s PATH 400 Trail.  

The expansion of the Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Buckhead is a great way to give some space back to nature.  

Getting more space and connecting to other trails will no doubt add to the quality of life for residents along the Buckhead PATH 400 who will now be one step closer to having a nature preserve in their own backyards.

Calling all outdoor lovers!  Soon you’ll be able to cycle, rollerblade, walk or run from Buckhead to Sandy Springs on PATH400.Friends in park

This huge undertaking  known as Buckhead's PATH400 trail is underway and is all green!  It will be completely pedestrian-friendly --no cars allowed-- providing an inviting way to enjoy the outdoors!!  Residents will be able to travel along with 5 mile long trail meandering through neighborhoods in North Buckhead, Peachtree Park and Lindmont LaVista, and take in the greenery, and scenery as they skate, rollerblade, walk or run.  

Walkable, bikeable, connected to schools and businesses, this meandering green pathway is, to me like having our very own Central Park in Atlanta!
